Location. The Hotel Alessandrino is located in Rome, Italy, within two kilometres of St Peter's Square and the Vatican Museum, and three kilometres from Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona. Hotel Features. Set on a hill in a residential neighbourhood, the Hotel Alessandrino offers peaceful lodgings outside Rome's busy city centre. There are two terraces, one on the roof and one set on a lower floor with tables and chairs. A drinks delivery service is available.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Distance to Hotel Alessandrino is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. When taking a taxi or asking directions, specify that the street is perpendicular to the Traversa di Monte del Gallo. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. There is a bus stop two minutes' walk from hotel for services down the hill and to St Peter's Square. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
Driving directions. From Fiumicino International Airport, take the Aurelia Highway, following signs for Centro. At Piazza Irnerio, turn right. Cross Via Gregorio VII, and drive straight on until you reach St Peter's railway station. Turn right and into Monte del Gallo street, then drive straight on. Hotel Alessandrino is located on the left.
